Small Grants:  Grants of up to £150,000 pa for a 2 year delivery period are available for projects led by voluntary and community groups/organisations based and working in Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil or Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Purpose:

  • Combat loneliness and isolation of people living with dementia, their family and Carers
  • Prevent unnecessary access to statutory services/support discharge
  • Support beneficiary groups to maintain their health, wellbeing   and independence
  • Helping community and voluntary organisations build capacity

Join Ara Recovery 4 All for a live webinar exploring the intersection of LGBTQ+ identity and gambling harm.

Aiming to break down barriers for LGBTQ+ individuals accessing services and make treatment more inclusive and accessible.

They will raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals who struggle with gambling harm, while also highlighting the importance of support, understanding, and inclusion within our communities. Additionally, they will delve into how this subject impacts young people within the LGBTQ+ community, acknowledging their specific needs and experiences.

Through insightful discussions with a panel of experts and personal stories from those with lived experiences, they hope to promote understanding, offer resources, and inspire positive change in addressing gambling harm within the LGBTQ+ community.
