The Young Gamechangers Fund is open to individuals (ages 10-25) and youth-led groups and organisations. Funded by Co-op, Co-op Foundation, and the #iwill Fund, it is delivered by Global Fund for Children and Restless Development.

It’s designed by young people, for young people, this unique funding programme empowers you to drive positive transformation in your community. Whether you’re a seasoned leader or just starting your activism journey, this fund is here to support you.

Come and join us online to find out more about Tempo Time Credits - how they work and how they can benefit you, your volunteers and group/organisation.

Tempo is a national charity that seeks to reward volunteers for all their fantastic efforts by giving Time Credits for their time, which allows them to access a range of fantastic activities at venues that accept Time Credits in place of monetary payment.

From gym sessions and cinemas, day trips to online opportunities, there’s something for everyone with Time Credits.

We are looking to growing our Time Credit network in Merthyr Tydfil and would love your help with this.

This session is an opportunity to meet us, find out more, see how it all works, and to ask any questions that you might have.

The Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme (LDTCS) funds projects near certain waste transfer stations or landfill sites, with a focus on:

• biodiversity
• waste minimisation and the reduction of waste to landfill, and
• wider environmental enhancements.

The scheme is now open for applications for main grants of between £5,000 – £49,000 and a ‘nationally significant’ project with a value of between £50,000 – £250,000.

For this round of LDTCS, we will be providing two deadlines, this will enable applications to be assessed promptly when received.

• If you would like your application to be considered as part of window 1, please submit it by 20 December 2024.
• If you would like your application to be considered as part of window 2, please submit it by 7 February 2025.
