These webinars are just the beginning of the BBC’s commitment to recruit more deaf, disabled and neurodiverse talent. Later in the year and continuing into 2024, there will be Open Days across a number of BBC Locations including Pacific Quay in Glasgow and the Newsroom in London Broadcasting House.

Responding to the climate and nature emergencies, the Wales Peatland Action Programme has ambitious targets for restoring peatlands

  • The new grant round was launched 13/10/2023 and closes at midnight 15/1/2024.
  • £100,000 of funding is available as £10k-£30k grants to individuals and organisations for developing plans for peatland restoration.
  • The successful Development Grant projects must be completed by 15/1/25.
  • All details and the application process can be accessed through the Wales Peatland Action Programme web page.
  • Webinars to explain the application process will be held on Teams on 27/10/23 (10-11am English and 11:30am-12:30pm Welsh) with registration in Welsh and English. A recording of the webinars will be uploaded for on-going reference.
  • The grants are funded by Welsh Government.
  • NRW’s National Peatland Action Programme has a strategic role to expand Wales’ peatland action through partners.
