Mental Health Awareness Week is just a month away, running from the 15th – 21st May.

This year anxiety is the theme for Mental Health Awareness Week. The campaign is looking to help increase people's awareness and understanding of anxiety by providing information on the things that can help prevent it from becoming a problem or someone reaching crisis point.

Here at VAMT we would like to support and share local activities, groups and organisations that support people with their mental health and wellbeing.

Are you a local group or organisation that are planning something for Mental Health Awareness Week or do you offer support or activities that benefit people’s mental health and wellbeing?

Faye our Mental Health Development Officer would love to hear from you. Perhaps you’ve plans for a crafting session or a walk group outing or a simple coffee morning? Contact Faye on and we can help to promote your support and activities across the Merthyr Borough.
