The Workforce Race Equality Standard is a tool that'll help monitor the experience of people from ethnic minorities who work in health and social care in Wales.

We’re bringing together a panel of experts to introduce the Workforce Race Equality Standard and discuss how it can be used to drive cultural change across social care in Wales.

📅 The event will take place from 2pm to 3pm on Thursday 8 February on Zoom.

It'll be co-chaired by Albert Heaney CBE and Judith Paget, with Sue Evans, Anton Emmanuel and Abyd Quinn Aziz also on the panel.

Patient experience survey 2024 is now live.

As a patient led charity, we always strive to meet the changing needs of our service users and find out what barriers they face in accessing support, and how we can help them in new ways to meet their needs.  Please share this survey with as many people as you can, we want to capture the thoughts and gain insight from as many people as possible to ensure we continue to meet the needs of cancer patients and their families.

• 1. Assistive Technology: Boost your tech confidence with RSBC's Assistive Technology sessions covering a variety of devices for personalised, online one-on-one or group workshops to enhance your independence and everyday life.
• 2. Audio Book Club: Join the Zoom audio book club for VI young people across the UK! Listen to your favorite books, make friends through discussions, quizzes, and create your own audiobook sessions.
• 3. Creative Session: Join regular online and hybrid sessions, open to children and young people up to age 25, to share creative passions like music, poetry, gaming, and more with like-minded individuals!
• 4. Sisterhood: This is a supportive online group for young women aged 11 –25. You can connect with your peers to discuss issues that are important to you. You can discuss anything from mental health and wellbeing to hair care.
• 5. Bro Bants: A supportive online group for young men aged 11 to 25. You’ll have a safe and friendly space to meet one another, form new friendships and discuss and explore various topics, sharing life experiences together!
• 6. Film Club: Dive into the Film Club, where you can enjoy watching audio-described movies online and connect with fellow young movie buffs.
