With 1 week until the start of Mental Health Awareness Week...

Are you doing anything within your organisation, group or club to raise awareness or support your local community?

If you have something on across the week that you would like to share with others across the Merthyr Borough, we would like to help you promote it.

Contact Faye our Mental Health Development Officer via email faye.johnson@vamt.net

This year's theme is Anxiety.

What do you do to help manage your mental health and wellbeing?

It could be anything from attending a walking group, to baking, gardening or a local knitting group.

Our colleagues in Flintshire are inviting you to join their FREE Meet the Funder Event online.

Come join the Arts Council Wales for a Meet the Funder Event on 11th May @ 2pm

The Arts Council of Wales' Noson Allan/Night Out scheme helps groups of volunteers across Wales bring the arts to the heart of their communities.

Community groups (known as Promoters) can choose from a huge range of great professional performers and put them on in community or village halls and other non-traditional venues across the country.

Find out about the various Arts Council Wales grants for organisations. Currently open are:

  • Creative Steps for Organisations: support individuals and organisations who have experienced barriers to accessing our funding.
  • Create: funds the development and creation of high-quality arts experiences that help creative individuals and organisations engage with and connect to the public.
