A Safeguarding Week webinar to revisit the National Safeguarding Training Standards and hear about the new Framework for training implementation in Wales.

The webinar will cover:

  • The key points within the National Safeguarding Training Standards
  • What is new in the Training Framework?
  • What does this mean for voluntary organisations?
  • How might this strengthen our approach to safeguarding training and learning?

This webinar will be suitable for those staff, volunteer leads and trustees who have responsibility for safeguarding/safeguarding training in their organisations.

Specialist programme

This programme is for small, local, specialist charities supporting people facing complex issues.

Under this programme we will support charities to strengthen their capacity and capabilities and become more resilient through a range of tailored development support offers alongside a three-year unrestricted grant of £75,000.

We will support small charities with an annual income between £25,000 to £500,000 where the main focus of your charity is to provide support for one of the eight themes outlined below. 

Addiction

Asylum Seekers and Refugees

Care Leavers

Domestic Abuse

Homelessness

Offending

Sexual abuse & Exploitation

Trafficking and modern slavery

We will open for applications from Wednesday, 1 November 2023, 10am.
