Museum Wales - Object-Based Reminiscence Training sessions

 

 

Please see below some information on Object-Based Reminiscence Training sessions that are being  hosted for free at a number of museums over the coming months for anyone who supports a person/people living with dementia.

Objects are wonderful and powerful tools for stimulating conversation, prompting recall of lived experience and triggering memory.

When

St Fagans National Museum of History (Cardiff, CF5 6XB) on 12th August from 10am – 3pm 

National Waterfront Museum (Oystermouth Road, Maritime Quarter, Swansea, SA1 3RD) on 19th August from 10am – 3pm 

National Museum Cardiff (Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NP) on 26th August from 10am – 3pm

Big Pit (Blaenafon, Torfaen, NP4 9XP) on 3rd September from 10am – 3pm 

Food and drink

Should you wish to join us, refreshments will be served 30 minutes before the beginning of your session

A light lunch will also be provided
