Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council’s Anti-Poverty Action Plan

Thousands of people across the UK are finding the rising cost of living difficult. Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council needs your views to help create an ‘Anti-Poverty Action Plan.’

Poverty means that someone can’t afford to live at the standard that most other people would expect. This may mean that you can’t afford to heat your home, pay your rent or mortgage, buy essentials for you or your children, or take part in activities in the community. It may also mean that you can’t afford to eat, or keep warm and dry.

If you think you are experiencing this, or you have done in the past, then we would like you to answer this anonymous, short survey. Your response to this survey will help us create an Anti-Poverty Action Plan which works for Merthyr Tydfil.

Further paper copies of this survey are available in the Civic Centre, or you can complete the survey online via our website www.merthyr.gov.uk.

If you would like support to complete this survey, or would like the survey in Welsh or other formats or languages, then please contact us using the details below. Responses can be emailed, posted or delivered to the following:
