The Cwm Taf Morgannwg (CTM) Regional Partnership Board and Regional Children’s Board are committed to improving emotional wellbeing and mental health for babies, children, young people and their families through the NYTH/NEST framework and a whole-system, whole-hearted approach.
Co-production and improved engagement with children, young people and families has been identified as a critical success factor for service transformation with partners.
To support the work of the regional Children’s Progamme Board, we would like to introduce a new Coproduction Incentive Grant (CPIG) to partners across CTM, which aims to help lay the foundations and provide resources for organisations to move forward with their coproduction journey and improve services, based on the feedback, engagement by families.
All proposals submitted to this grant must demonstrate how they embed NEST principles, support compassionate and relational ways of working, and contribute to a joined-up, preventative system where children and families experience support as accessible, trusted and coordinated.
The purpose of the CPIG is to support organisations to deliver projects to improve service user engagement and co-production in efforts to improve mental health and well-being in babies, young children, and their families.
To support families with their wellbeing, and make sure children are able to access their rights, no matter who they are, where they live or what they believe in. These rights are in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Child Poverty Strategy for Wales 2024 | GOV.WALES
