VAMT will be hosting Bystander Intervention Training delivered by Kindling Interventions as part of the Welsh Governments strategy to tackle Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse & Sexual Violence (VAWDASV).
This course has been fully funded by the Welsh Government Violence Against Women & Girls strategy and FREE to VAMT members.
The session will cover the following :
- Bystander intervention – the key ideas.
- Gender based violence- understanding the problem.
- Deepening our understanding
- Challenging myths around violence and abuse
- A 3 pronged approach to intervention
The in-person session will be held on December 5th from 9:30 to 4pm at
VAMT Voluntary Action Centre,
