Merthyr Tydfil are celebrating another year of young people’s achievements with an Academy of Success evening to recognise and support the success of young people throughout the borough. The Active Citizen and Participation Awards are open to all young people, 11 to 25 years of age, living in Merthyr Tydfil. As the event is to celebrate young people’s success, young people will be involved in the process and in the organising of the event.
There is a total of 12 categories for the awards and each category has a description and criteria as guidance.
The closing date for all applications is Sunday 31st March 2024. The deadline will not be extended this year due to the timescales involved.
Please Note: an individual/group/project can only be nominated for one award and provisions can only apply for a maximum of 3 awards. All applications are to be sent by email to eb@smt.org.uk
An email will be sent out the week commencing 13th May 2024 informing winners and runners-up of being shortlisted. A template will then need to be completed about the candidate.
