As part of our Core Pillar of Engagement and Influencing, VAMT facilitate several Networks and Forums to provide a platform for our members to come together, share good practice and promote their services, which operate locally, regionally or nationally.

Statutory partners may be invited to connect with the Networks / Forums for the benefit of information sharing, consultation / engagement and service development.

Health and Wellbeing Forum

The forum has been running since 2004 and is for those delivering services or those who have an interest in Health & Wellbeing. This is one of the key fora that enables VAMT to represent members’ views and experiences at a strategic level.

Children Young People & Families Forum

Initially established in 2004, the forum has been running in its current format since 2022. It provides support to our member organisations delivering services for children, young people and families to come together on shared interests.

Volunteer Managers’ Forum

Established in 2008, the forum serves to support third sector organisations managing volunteers to ensure they have an opportunity to network, receive peer support, share best practice and access training and volunteer management development.

Third Sector Mental Health Forum

The Forum is a sub-group of the Together for Mental Health Partnership Board and is a network comprising mental health third sector organisations, service users, carers and the statutory sector to enhance partnership working and co-production across Cwm Taf Morgannwg, with the aim to influence positive change in services provided for people with mental health issues.

Third Sector Leaders’ Forum

This forum brings together third sector strategic leaders for the purpose of collaboration, consultation, engagement and peer support. It represents the breadth and diversity of the sector and all that it has to offer.
