The “Young\u00a0People\u00a0Say”\u00a0training\u00a0is a valuable session to take part in, especially with the involvement of\u00a0young\u00a0people\u00a0themselves in the delivery. This\u00a0training\u00a0is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of those working with children and\u00a0young\u00a0people, focusing on their active participation. Participants will explore various methods of participation, gaining insights into what these mean from the perspective of\u00a0young\u00a0people\u00a0themselves. The\u00a0training\u00a0will also provide practical strategies for effectively engaging children and\u00a0young\u00a0people\u00a0in both the work environment and decision-making processes. A discussion of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which serves as a foundational framework for understanding children’s rights to participation, will also take place. \u00a0By the end of the\u00a0training, attendees will be equipped with the tools and understanding necessary to foster a more inclusive and participatory environment for\u00a0young\u00a0people.<\/div>
