CYPVOF is a network of third sector organisations that work either with children / young people and/or families in the County Borough of Merthyr Tydfil. The current membership includes a broad range of local, regional and national organisations.
Forum meetings are a great place to find out what services are provided in the borough and an excellent platform for you to let everyone know what services you are currently providing, any new services you might be planning and your recent successes. Plus the meeting room is always booked for an extra half an hour to allow time for attendees to network and make those vital connections with each other.
The meetings are held on a quarterly basis, in general they are held on Thursday mornings at 10am at the Voluntary Action Centre 89-90 High Street. If this changes for whatever reason we will send out an email with further details or post the information on our blog.
On the Agenda we regularly have at least two presentations covering a wide range of topics. We also have a 'Spotlight On' slot, where organisations can present an overview of all of the services their organisation provides including any new projects they have taken on.
Statutory partners are also welcome to engage with the Forum for the benefit of information sharing, consultation and networking.
Third sector organisations participating in the Forum are encouraged to become members of VAMT, and can register by downloading and completing an application form.
